Winter in Yellowstone is a magical time to visit, no crowds! The abundant wildlife contrasts with the blanket of white and the ghostly plumes of superheated pools and geysers.
Park roads are not plowed during the winter. Vehicle traffic is limited to over-the- snow-vehicles. You can ride the snow coach from Flagg Ranch and enjoy a night or two at The Old Faithful Snow Lodge. You and your family can comfortably enjoy all that the Yellowstone National Park wintry landscape has to offer.
Alltrans provides daily shuttle service with one-way and round-trip fares to Flagg Ranch, the south entrance of Yellowstone National Park. This service connects with the Old Faithful Snow Coach and runs during the winter season from December thru March.
